Sparking Connections shares my professional teaching and learning journey. I've recently moved to a Year 2 class at St Heliers School, Auckland, after five and a half years as a teacher within the Manaiakalani Community of Learning in Glen Innes, Auckland. The first half of 2018 saw me teaching a Year 4/5 class at Point England School while inquiring into accelerating achievement in Maths within the Manaiakalani Innovative Teacher programme. While a Year 5/6 teacher in Room 10 at Ruapotaka School, I inquired into raising reading achievement as a member of Spark-MIT 2016.
